Like many Angelenos, Serious Eats is won over by Mendocino Farms' Kurobuta Pork Belly Banh Mi. While not entirely traditional by way of authentic banh mi sandwiches, many of the expected ingredients do grace the sandwich, though "the flavor here is less Vietnam and more Los Angeles artisanal."
