Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded expected to sell more than 200,000.

<P>It will be a short reign at #1 for <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/madonna/artist.jhtml">Madonna's</a> <a href="/news/articles/1682452/madonna-mdna-billboard.jhtml"><I>MDNA</I></a>. But at least the "Girl Gone Wild" will drop out of the top spot next week to make room for a pal: <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/minaj__nicki/artist.jhtml">Nicki Minaj</a>. </P><P> </P><P>According to <a href="http://www.billboard.com/#/news/nicki-minaj-s-roman-ready-for-no-1-on-billboard-1006676352.story?utm_source=most_recent" target="_blank"><I>Billboard</I> magazine</a> Nicki's heavily hyped, <a href="/news/articles/1682041/nicki-minaj-roman-reloaded.jhtml">polarizing second album</a>
, <I>Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded</I>, is set to become her first #1 debut. </P><P> </P><P><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:756550/cp~vid%3D756550%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A756550" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed> </P><P> </P><P>Industry sources speculated that <I>Roman</I> could sell between 200,000 and 250,000 copies by the reporting week's end on Sunday. <I>Pink Friday</I> landed at #2 when it hit the charts in December 2010 with sales of 375,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. </P><P> </P><P>The album finally took the #1 slot two months later thanks to the crossover success of the "Super Bass" single. </P><P> </P><P>Though Minaj broke <I>Roman</I> up into two distinct halves, with the first suite of songs aimed at her loyal hip-hop fans and the second half focused on more pop and dance-oriented tracks, so far the <a href="/news/articles/1682397/nicki-minaj-roman-reloaded-fan-reactions.jhtml">jury is still out</a>
