Although Bob's Big Boy, the currently endangered species of SoCal diners popular back in the 60s and 70s, was planning to expand around these here parts, at least one location is still set to close. Six plus year-old Bob's Big Boy on Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance calls it quits on September 3 "just due to a general lack of sales," says owner Jim Louder. [Daily Breeze]
