ROUNDUP: Celebs Instagram & Twitpic It Up

It's been a busy week in Twitpics & Instagrams.  Celebs love to show off their real sides in their own pics for their fans.  So we've rounded up some of our faves.  And since Instagram has been down since last night and is barely up now, this will hold ya over.

Check out what Beyonce & Solange, LeBron & Savannah, Tyra Banks, reality stars and more were up to this week...

While her man LeBron James was in New York this week doing Championship promo rounds, Savannah Instagramed a pic of herself "handling business" on her own.  Wedding business maybe?  And she looked fab while doing so.

Miami Heat Champs Dwyane Wade and Bron posted a pic saying they had so much fun doing their talk show rounds in NYC...and they're headed back to the MIA.

And Chris and Adrienne Bosh had some fun on the promo rounds in NY too.  Plus they posted a pic with Lady O during the Big 3' interview before they jetted to the City:

Hey baby Jackson!

While Solange Kowles celebrated her 26th birthday this week, she posted pics of her and big sis Beyonce hopping on a helicopter in London to get ready to celebrate.

And she also posted her son Julez to showcase "happiness."

Beyonce, who has been confirmed to show up at Sunday's BET Awards with her hubby Jay-Z in some capacity, uploaded a few more pics to her personal Tumblr account:

Nice.

Eva Marcille celebrated LaLa's birthday at her brunch Friday afternoon in L.A.

And speaking of La, her son Kiyan had some fun with the Captain America wax statue at Madame Tussauds as they attended Carmelo Anthony's unveiling ceremony.

Former "Girlfriends" actress Keesha Sharp posted a hot pic of her and her hubby Friday night in celebration of their upcoming 15 year wedding anniversary.

Jordin Sparks threw on a floral dress and her Stuart Weitzman cap toe heels for her appearance this week on "106 & Park."

"Good morning America" host Robin Roberts kicked off her IV treatments which will prepare her for her bone marrow transplant this week.  And she had a visit from supportive her friends Grant & Tamia Hill.

She also traveled to Atlanta to have a sit-down with Usher about fatherhood and his career.  It airs on GMA soon.

Monica posted a pic from the set of Fred Hammond's new gospel video for "Hold On" with James Fortune.  She said it was an honor to work with someone she grew up listening to.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa is still traveling overseas and touring.  So he gave fans a little peek into his Amsterdam life.

Toya Wright did a photoshoot for a cause--she tweeted she is supporting Polow Da Don's Focus4Life campaign.

Tyra Banks asked her Twitter followers to give her the real on if her forehead is too huge:

No one was looking at her forehead though.

Rocsi Diaz returned to "106 & Park" this week and posted the breakdown of her hot nude dress look from Wednesday's show: Dress by Mugler found at Intermix, Jimmy Choo shoes, Gorjana Jewelry and a Hello kitty band-aid.

"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star Joseline Hernandez snapped a bikini pool pic with her friend.  Drunk much?

"Basketball Wife" Evelyn Lozada snapped a pic of herself driving in the Miami Heat parade traffic with her fiance Chad Johnson.  The twosome are gearing up for their rumored 4th of July holiday wedding.

Rohan Marley posted a pic of his oldest daughter Selah (second from left) having some fun with her crew of friends.  Selah just graduated 8th grade this month!

And Leon is back on the scene...still looking the same.  He and actress Jennia Fredrique are currently shooting a movie called Marriage Material with Carl Payne and Robin Givens.  Jennia posted a pic of them on the set.

Fab times!

Ke$ha Gives Flaming Lips Frontman His First-Ever Toe Tattoo

Wayne Coyne talks about what happens when you work with 'freaks' like Ke$ha on The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends.
By James Montgomery

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/flaming_lips/artist.jhtml">Flaming Lips</a> mastermind Wayne Coyne took away more than just <a href="http://pitchfork.com/news/46404-flaming-lips-blood-vinyl-10-copies-2500-features-keha-erykah-badu-nick-cave-chris-martin-blood/" target="_blank">a vial of blood</a> when he traveled to Nashville to record with <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a>. (Though, really, you'd think that would be enough.) He also left with his first-ever tattoo ... not to mention a newfound respect for the wild-child pop star.</P><P>"Most of the time, if someone's willing to work with me, they're going to be a freak. And Ke$ha ... I sort of thought that she would be a freak, I'd heard about her and we'd tried to get a hold of her earlier," Coyne told MTV News backstage at the <a href="/news/articles/1685474/dave-matthews-band-hangout-fest.jhtml">Hangout Fest</a> in Gulf Shores, Alabama. "We showed up at her house, and she has a tattoo gun that she gives everyone a tattoo with, so within 20 minutes of being at her house, I had a tattoo on my toe; it's the only tattoo I've ever had.</P><P>"We were set to do this one song that I had prepared, and we went into the studio that night, and stayed there until about 2 in the morning, and did four songs, just making stuff up," he continued. "And the next day [we] worked for another couple hours. She's funny, she's gracious, she's imaginative, she's creative and she's <i>a lot</i> of fun to be around."</P><P>The result of that collaboration (a song called "2012") shows up on the Lips' special Record Store Day double-LP, <i>The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends,</i> a thoroughly out-there collection of songs and sound-collages that &#8212; as the title implies &#8212; the band recorded with the likes of Bon Iver, Nick Cave, Neon Indian, Yoko Ono and, uh, Coldplay's Chris Martin ... to name just a few. But will fans get to hear even <i>more</i> of the Flaming Lips/Ke$ha team-up? Well, Coyne certainly hopes so.</P><P>"We really loved making this music together &#8212; I think I've probably done six or seven songs with her &#8212; and I know a lot of her fans like ['2012'], but I don't know if we'll put more songs out there," he said. "She has other agendas besides doing music with Wayne, you know, but I hope so, because I think it's really great, crazy, <i>unexpected</i> music. And she, to her credit, loves what we do. She wants it to be whatever. She has no limits of what she wants it to be."</P><P>And don't think the <i>Heady Fwends</i> sessions will be the last time Coyne and Ke$ha share time (or blood) in the studio. If anything, the Lips' recent output of, uh, <i>non-traditional</i> releases &#8212; songs encased in gummy skulls and fetuses, 24-hour noise-jam freakouts that <a href="http://flaminglipstwentyfourhoursong.com/" target="_blank">play for all eternity</a>, limited-edition vinyl filled with actual blood, etc &#8212; suggests Coyne and Co. are just getting started ... and they're going to get even weirder before they're finished.</P><P>"That's been the beautiful thing about all of these weird collaborations and projects; you work with <i>freaks.</i> Even working with someone like Chris Martin, he's very open to, like, 'Let's do stuff!' That's the great surprise about it," Coyne said. "I don't think people are surprised when we work with a group like Lightning Bolt or Neon Indian &#8212; people think of us as like-minded &#8212; but the surprising thing with the Chris Martins or the Ke$has, they're like us too, they just don' play music that sounds like that all the time."</p>

Usher Premieres 'Fuerza Bruta'-Inspired 'Scream' Video

Ush's new clip mixes footage from his recent off-Broadway stint with some seriously sultry dance moves.
By James Montgomery

<P>Last month in New York, Usher put in work on the set of off-Broadway show <a href="/news/articles/1685172/usher-fuerza-bruta-rehearsal.jhtml">"Fuerza Bruta,"</a> starring as the show's Running Man and giving fans an impromptu sneak peek at his (then upcoming) <a href="/news/articles/1684389/usher-looking-4-myself-cover-neck-tattoo.jhtml"><i>Looking 4 Myself</i></a> album.</P><P>But now, with the album in stores and its second proper single, "Scream," at radio, it looks like Ush was using that experience for something else: namely, the inspiration for <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnjqNHB1bKw" target="_blank">the "Scream" video, which premiered Tuesday</a>.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Exclusive First Look At Usher's 'Fuerza Bruta' Performance" id="vid:769347.id:1685137" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>The clip is basically one long "Fuerza" performance, only this time, Usher isn't limited to the confines of the stage. Dressed in a natty suit, and backed by beams of light, he makes like his titular character in the production, running through a black expanse that seemingly stretches on forever (of course, he does make use of periodic pit stops to break into dance &#8212; it <i>is</i> an Usher video, after all). He's joined at the end by a female dancer, and the two share some seriously sultry moves.</P><P>Mixed in with the video is footage taken from his actual "Fuerza Bruta" performance &#8212; a female cast member floats above him, suspended in a bubble, water splashing around her. And much like the show itself &#8212; which is performed on a 360-degree stage, giving fans unprecedented views of the action &#8212; that live footage gives the "Scream" video a kinetic jolt to match the track's pounding, club-ready production.</P><P>Part live clip, part swaggering, oversexed performance video, Usher's "Scream" showcases the man doing what he does best: belting out a pulse-quickening, come-hither track while dancing like nobody else in the business. And hey, if this whole R&B megastar thing doesn't work out, perhaps Ush could make a name for himself on Broadway. As he proves with his new video, he's certainly got the moves.</p>

EXCLUSIVE: Matt Barnes & Gloria Govan Confirm They're NOT Engaged, Meeka Claxton & Somaya Reece Throw Shade At Reality Show Producers

"Basketball Wife LA" star Gloria Govan was front and center at her man Matt Barnes' BLEU magazine cover party in NYC Tuesday night.  And even though they are back together, the twosome confirmed to TheYBF.com there are no plans to head down the aisle...yet.  Check out our exclusive pics and chit chat with the couple and Meeka Claxton and Somaya Reece inside....

Ms. Gloria was indeed glowing at her man's BLEU magazine event Tuesday night, but it's not because of an engagement.  TheYBF.com was on hand at the private party at Ricardo's Steakhouse in NYC to celebrate Laker baller Matt Barnes' new cover

And while Gloria did confirm the two are back on and making improvements in their relationship...she's NOT engaged.  She tells us the rumors that swirled back in April were false.

The cast has been taping the new season of "BBW LA" for about a month now.  And Gloria tells us that a few new faces DO pop up this season on the cast.  As for who's returning--definitely her sister Laura.  And even though she didn't appear too thrilled about it--Jackie Christie.

As for what Gloria, who was involved in her own fair share of drama on her own show, thinks about the backlash of the original Miami cast of "Basketball Wives," she doesn't watch, but feels that it's "a bit out of control and immature."

That about sums it up.  More pics of Matt & Gloria boo'd up at the BLEU event:

Reality chicks Meeka Claxton and Somaya Reece (along with Al Reynolds) also came out to support.  The two reality chicks also gave us their 2 cents about being pissy with the producers of their shows.

Former "Basketball Wife" Meeka says Exec. producer/cast member Shaunie O'Neal is "full of it" about wanting more positivity. She said they taped plenty of positive footage that producers did not use because negativity is what gets ratings.

As for whether Meeka watches the show since being given the boot?  Absolutely not.  She made it very clear that she doesn't want to give them ratings. She says, though, she "has no regrets." Up next for the self-proclaimed businesswoman?  Working on a fashion line for young girls.  Of course.

And "Love & Hip Hop" star Somaya Reece looking fabulous after breast reduction surgery and a hardcore workout/dieting plan, had some words about her own show's producers.  She revealed she was "really disrespected" because they barely had her on this past season.  So she's not sure she's returning for the next one.

She did confirm, however, that co-star Chrissy Lampkin is currently filming a spinoff show with Jim Jones.  And Somaya is close to finishing her rap album.

U2, Metallica Bring History-Making Collaborations To Rock Hall Concert

Fellow headliners Aretha Franklin and Jeff Beck, along with guests like Mick Jagger and Ozzy Ozbourne, celebrate night two of Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary.
By Saimon Kos

<P><b>NEW YORK</b> &#8212; For the second night in a row, Tom Hanks walked onstage at Madison Square Garden to do the introduction for the <a href="/news/articles/1625163/bruce-springsteen-stevie-wonder-steal-rock-hall-fame-show.jhtml">Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concert</a>, and for the second night in a row some of the greatest rock acts of all time shared the stage. Performances varied from classic hits to once-in-a-lifetime collaborations as Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck, Metallica and U2 all brought out big-name guests.</P><P></p><div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:451268" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="configParams=instance%3Dnews%26vid%3D451268" allowFullScreen="true" wmode="transparent" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></div><p></P><P>Jerry Lee Lewis got things started again, this time performing "Great Balls Fire" and literally kicking down his seat before exiting to make way for the rest of the acts. Franklin took the stage in a red dress that was outshined only by the sound of her voice as she opened the night with "A Natural Woman." Her set included a collaboration with Annie Lennox and one with Lenny Kravitz, who added his voice to her classic hit "Think." When asked afterward how her duet with Lenny came about, she said it was due to his friendship with her son, who also happened to play lead guitar for her band that night.</P><P>Next, one of the all-time great guitar players performed as a replacement for a reportedly ailing Eric Clapton. This seemed fitting, since in the 1960s, Jeff Beck was Eric's bandmate in the Yardbirds with Jimmy Page. Jeff was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame this year, and on Friday night he reminded everyone why it was an honor that was well deserved. Sting, Buddy Guy and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top each took a shot at matching their voice to Jeff's guitar, and each felt like a an experiment in music that went terribly right, especially when Beck and Gibbons recreated Jimmy Hendrix's masterpiece "Foxy Lady." No voice was needed for Jeff's final performance of the night, as he paid tribute to the Beatles with an instrumental version of "A Day in the Life." It was one worthy of the highest allowable score on "Beatles Rock Band."</P><P> <div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 10px; float: right;"> <table width="200" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" background="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/flipbook/bg.jpg" align="left" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr><td width="200" colspan="3"><img src="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/spacer.gif" width="200" height="36"></td></tr> <tr> <td width="30"> <img src="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/spacer.gif" width="30" height="105"> </td> <td width="140"><a href="Fhttp://www.mtv.com/photos/?fid=1625162"><img src="http://www.mtv.com/news/photos/r/rock_hall_of_fame_10202009/article2/140x105.jpg" width="140" height="105" border="0"></a></td> <td width="30"><img src="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/spacer.gif" width="30" height="105"></td> </tr> <tr><td width="200" colspan="3"><img src="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/spacer.gif" width="200" height="45"></td></tr> <tr><td width="10"><img src="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/spacer.gif" width="10" height="50"></td> <td width="180" align="center" valign="top"><font size="1" color="#FFFFFF"><a href="http://www.mtv.com/photos/?fid=1625162">Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 25th Anniversary Concert</a></font></td> <td width="10"><img src="/shared/promoimages/news/tables/spacer.gif" width="10" height="50"></td></tr> </table></div></P><P>Metallica brought more than just metal when they hit the stage. Starting off with "For Whom the Bell Tolls," the boys were then joined by Lou Reed, before succumbing to the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. Together they paid tribute to Black Sabbath by performing "Iron Man" and "Paranoid." Then things took an unexpected turn when Metallica teamed up with the Kinks frontman Ray Davies, giving a metal edge to the punk classic "You Really Got Me." Before calling it a night, the boys ended the show with one of their biggest hits of all time, "Enter Sandman." This had its own unexpected twist, as Yankee footage began to play on the monitors above them for no apparent reason. Then again, this is New York during the World Series.</P><P>The final and maybe biggest act of the second night at MSG was U2. First, they shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith, performing "Because the Night," a song Bono said his band only wishes they could have written. His passion for the track became even more apparent when he decided to do it a second time because it was clean on the first take. Bruce stayed on for one more song, lending his voice to the classic U2 song "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." The next collaboration was one that included a much younger act, by Hall of Fame standards, when the Black Eyed Peas came out to sing "Where is the Love." Fergie stuck around when Mick Jagger came out to perform "Gimme Shelter." Mick and Bono kept the energy high, turning "Stuck in a Moment" into a duet. And finally, U2 performed "Beautiful Day," bringing the night to a beautiful end.</p>

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover

Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.

<P>Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon.</P><P>For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997.</P><P>Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction.</P><P><b>Get your "Idol" fix on MTV News' <a href="/news/articles/1486475/mtv-news-american-idol.jhtml">"American Idol" page</a>, where you'll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.</b></p>

Jennifer Hudson Gets STARRY, Dishes On Her Pampers' LULLABY & Her Summer Playlist

Jennifer Hudson just put a soulful spin on a classic lullaby for Pampers for little babies around the world. Get the deets inside and find out who's on her summer playlist....

Jennifer Hudson, who is pictured rocking a sheer star-printed Equipment blouse after her "Good Morning America" appearance today, spoke with The BoomBox about the Pampers project.  The mom of little David, Jr. recreated "Brahms' Lullaby" for the diaper company and the track will be available as a free download on the Pampers Facebook page.

The company is also donating $100,000 to the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, the charity Jenny and her sister Julia created in honor of her slain nephew.

She described her recording saying,

"The sweetest, lovable, loving and soothing and happy all in one song. I wanted it to feel good, too. Sometimes lullabies kind of feel like Christmas songs. I still want to keep that same spirit, still where it's like soothing. That song where you can just play, because when my baby was born, I would play jazz music and light candles and hold him around the house until he would fall asleep. And I want to bottle it all up into this and have that moment where you have a special moment with your child but still when that song ends, that baby's asleep. That's the little gift and the treat that the moms get. Like, "Whew, I get a break" [laughs]."

She added that being a mom herself definitely helped:

"I'm sure other moms will get that, that bond, that specialness, whether you sing or not, that you can hum to your child, that moment. When my baby was first born, like now I can't sleep without him. When I'm away from him, I can't sleep because he's not here. So when he was a baby in the middle of the night, nobody's getting up but mom. I don't care if you have a nanny or not, only mom is getting up in the middle of the night. But those are the moments I cherish the most, and that to me is what "Lullaby" gives, that moment."

She later revealed that Whitney Houston's "I Want To Dance With Somebody," "Domino" by Jessie J. and Drake & Rihanna's "Take Care" are high on her Summer playlist.  Loves it.
